I seem to thrive on multi-screen-tasking (nice term huh?) I flit from tab to tab and somehow get it all done…or not as I choose. And tomorrow is another day to immerse myself in the madness once again.

But I wouldn’t turn down a candy bar once in a while!!

Thank you for the encouragement. I do have to say that we have seen some of the best specialists in our state and in the US (at the National Institutes of Health NF2 clinic). Wile I appreciate their experience and knowledge…I will continue to pursue doctors who offer some hope and are willing to think outside the box. I will look into U Chicago for sure. Thanks!

I know that there hasn’t been a lot of research done on NF in general, but there are support groups out there and a number of great doctors who specialize in NF. We have seen Dr. Tonsgard at the University of Chicago in the past. He is one of the best in the country when it comes to children with NF. Good luck and research has come along way even for NF. Don’t let a doctor who is not a specialist tell you otherwise.
